About the event
Located in China's eastern coastal regions, Wuxi is the cradle of China's national industry and commerce and township enterprises. In 2018, the city's per capita GDP had exceeded US $25000. Wuxi has a population of 6.57 million and has been ranked the most liveable city in mainland China thrice. In recent years, in striving to build new heights in modern industry of international renown, Wuxi has made substantial progress in improving its technological innovation and modern industry system. In 2018, it attracted US $60.6 billion of investments, including from 101 Fortune 500 companies.
Singapore is the 4th largest investor in Wuxi; over the years, both sides have enjoyed steady economy and trade ties.
